2561133: Tobar Bhreandáin Water Treatment Plant, Townland of Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, Ballyferriter
Uisce Éireann intend to apply for A TEN YEAR PERMISSION for development in the townland of Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, Ballyferriter, County Kerry. The development will consist of the following: - 1no. twin-celled precast concrete treated water storage tank and associated retaining wall; -Decommissioning of the existing water reservoir. The top slab shall be removed and infilled with stone chip; -1no. above-ground pump kiosk; - 1no. fully buried valve chamber; - 1no overflow outlet and associated de-chlorination chamber and below-ground chamber ; - Installation of by-pass chamber and hydrant for emergency emptying/refilling of the storage tank; - 2no. ground mounted solar photovoltaic panels (one array measuring 24m2 and the other measuring 33m2, all solar panels will be 2.0m above ground level); and -All associated development required to facilitate the proposed development, including associated underground cabling and pipework; extension to existing hard surfaced internal circulation area, internal site road, lighting and drainage, and landscaping.
